Mile 2652.6 to 2661.17 for 8.57 non PCT miles with an elevation increase of 1574 and decrease of 1875. I cannot recall the last time if ever that we did not have an alarm set while on trail. We both slept hard till 7:30 then packed up and were hiking by 9:00. We reached the Manning Park Resort at noon where we got big lunches, a room for the night and arranged a ride to Vancouver, BC. The hiking was either mist, rain or sleet the entire way. We were glad to see Chill Bill arrive as we had not seen him since before yesterday. We learned he had taken the lower route into Canada. We were also sad to see a flyer looking for Diggy, a PCT hiker we met in California. She was several days overdue. The mountains are really getting a lot of snow making hiking difficult. We do not believe it will be possible to safely get past Rainy Pass for PCT hikers in the next few days. Later in the evening we enjoyed a turkey dinner at the lodge with Pancakes and Noms. It was Thanksgiving in Canada.
