This unfortunately is “zero” day for us as we await delivery of my new pack. I am feeling a bit better and ate a small breakfast and normal dinner. We went through our gear to determine what to send home since we are delaying our trek through the Sierra portion of the trail. Very good outfitters within walking distance so we were able to replace our tent stakes and my pillow that failed in Kennedy Meadows. Also picked up some great Oofos thongs. They are lightweight, have arch support, do not slip off your feet when you do not want them to and provide good cushioning. Mine weigh 7 oz! I found my previously lost buff. I had placed it in a bag while in Kennedy Meadows to keep it clean. My back is in a lot of pain so I visited the local chiropractor. He did some amazing adjusting that has allowed me to move more freely. I will see him one more time before we leave for Ashland. My worn out pack had really done a number on me. We were also able to discuss changes to our resupply packages with Dawn.
