MP 643.72 to MP 652.00 for 8.28 miles with an elevation gain of 876 ft and loss of 2047 ft. It was a cool night with moderate winds.  We woke to heavy condensation on the inside of the tent fly.  A mystery since we have two big mesh doors and the ground was bone dry. Packed the tent went to ensure we reached the highway to catch the bus. aA very pleasant walk to Walker Pass.  Very shortly after reaching the Pass a police officer from China Lake picked us up to our hotel!  Along with another.  PCT hiker from Switzerland ( Johnny). Had showers,  starting cleaning clothes and gear and then had a good meal at China Express. Great plum wine! We both continue to lose weight. Kathy cannot tighten her pack’s waist belt anymore, it’s at it’s limit.  Unscientific estimates place Jerry’s waistline down 6” !!!
