Day 35 - 5/3/18

Mile 454.50 to mile 471.35. Started hiking from mile 456.71 because after our “zero” in Valencia had the Uber driver drop us at actual trail rather than walk 2.25 miles on the Sierra Hwy which is considered part of the PCT. Got water at a PVC pipe coming out of the low flowing Bear Spring at mile 463.24 in prep for a dry camp. A hot day where our solar umbrellas were most helpful. Jerry enjoyed a lawn chair placed at a water cache one mile past Bear Spring. Taping Jerry’s knee is helping, but it was still a hard day for him. I also taped my left knee and it helped. In camp by 4:45 at an elevation of 3666 feet.
